The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Atlanta Hawks. The Cavaliers are now 9-28 on the season and one win away from double digits. It has been a terrible season for the Cavs and their defensive efforts have left very little to be desired. Last night the Cavaliers looked like a team that could win. Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving scored 33 points on the win. He led all Cavs in scoring and played a great game.
Alonzo Gee was the next highest scorer for the team with 15 points. The Cleveland Cavaliers are still playing without the wild-thing Anderson Varejao who is still out with injury. Varejao is a guy the Cavs could use, he bring a level of intensity to the team and fights for every rebound under the basket. The team found a way to dig out a victory and for the Cavs fans they will take it.
