The Cleveland Browns are set to kick off their 2016 NFL season on September 11th. After seeing how the team performed, or should we say under-performed in the pre-season, what are your expectations for the up-coming season?
The Browns defense doesn't seem to be able to stop anyone. The offense needs improvement, and the main worry for the team should be the offensive line. If they can't protect RGIII, he may not be able to finish the year.
Hue Jackson is a players coach, he is a guy who is able to get the most out of his players, but you need players with NFL talent to begin with. Jackson is going to have his hands full.
I had high expectations for this season. But after seeing how the team performed in their 4 exhibition games, I am now worried. Somehow the Browns need to pull their defense together before next Sunday.
If they can't, I can't see them winning 4-games this season. Fans are going to have to be patient. Jackson isn't going to be able to turn this club around in a single season. He is going to need a couple of NFL drafts at the very least.
Cleveland looks like they are in the same shape they've been in for the past 17 seasons. Don't have high expectations folks. Lets remain clam and let Hue do what he does for a couple of seasons before we pass judgement on him.
This isn't going to be pretty, but as Browns fans, we are all used to seeing a team that doesn't look pretty. In other words, it looks like here we go again.........
