“Organizations win and lose. The reason why the Pittsburgh Steelers have five Super Bowl Championship rings and the Browns have never been to the big show is because of the ownership.
When the Steelers owner, Rooney gets out of his car and looks down and sees a cigarette but, he says, “What is that cigarette but doing in my parking lot, get rid of it.” He then goes into the weight room, and says, “Where are the players?”
Someone tells him they are at a golf outing. He says, “Cancel it and get their butts in the gym.”
When the Browns lost the last game of the season to the Steelers, our owner Randy Lerner was in England watching his soccer team play.
What message does that send?
Leadership starts at the top and trickles down, never the other way.
Until the Browns have an owner who lives and dies Browns football, they will continue to languish.
That is the problem in a nutshell. Bring in a new coach, quarterback, or beer man, doesn’t matter.
These are band aide solutions.”

Very Well said Tim, looking forward to your new show tomorrow morning. Best of luck to you……LG
I have to agree! If the owner can’t be bothered, why should the fans? What an awful message to send to a team…….Mr. Lerner should be ashamed of himself and apologize to his team and the fans.
