Trevor Bauer had a fantastic outing in game-1 of the A.L.D.S.. The guy was pitching as well as I've ever seen him pitch. He took a one-hitter into the 7th inning. Not only did Bauer have a no-hitter going well into the game, he completely shut down the man everyone is talking about.

He struck out Aaron Judge 3 times. As a matter of fact the Indians pitching staff combined for 4 strike outs against Judge. Cleveland was led offensively by their right-fielder Jay Bruce who was able to score the Indians first run in the second inning after doubling to deep left.

Then in the fourth inning, Bruce was behind in the count and he hit a 2-run shot over the wall in right field to give the Indians a 3-0 lead.

In the fifth inning Bruce would drive in the Tribe's 4th run off a sac-fly to center to drive in Ramirez.

Another high-light of the game was a fantastic diving catch made by Jason Kipnis playing out in center-field. If you worried about Kipnis playing center field well throughout the play-offs, that catch should put some of your worries to bed. He looked like a seasoned veteran as he stretched out for that one.

Game two should bring some more solid pitching as it's Corey Kluber who gets the start.  Hopefully the Indians offense can get him some runs early in this one. The Yankees are starting CC Sabathia.
