The Cleveland Indians can’t get it right so far in the month of August. The Tribe was shut out by the Minnesota Twins 3-0 last night.  The Twins pitcher Andrew Albers shut down the Indians offense only allowing 2 hits.

Albers pitched a complete game and he was able to hold a team that normally scores runs off the score board. The Indians now fall into 3rd place in the A.L.Central and there is no telling how much further the Tribe will fall.

Cleveland has trouble folks, it is the same kind of trouble we have seen the Indians faced over the last couple of seasons. Somehow when the season gets deep into the second have of the season, the Indians forget how to play baseball.

This season we thought it was going to be different with Terry Francona as the team’s manager. Francona had the Indians performing at a level we were not familiar with, that was until the Indians were swept by the Tigers.

Since that 4 game series, the Tribe looks deflated. Somehow these guys need to dig down deep and find something inside themselves that will get them back to winning. The first thing they need to do is get the offense moving again.

If the Indians continue to play the way they are playing now, this season could be over before we get to September. They have to find some pride and get back to playing winning baseball.
