The Cleveland Indians beat the Chicago White Sox for the 4th game in a row. The Sox left Cleveland today with that sick feeling in their stomach of Oopes they did it to us again and they sure did.

The Indians beat the Sox today 6-1. Justin Masterson had another great performance, he pitched for 6-2/3′s innings and only gave up 5 hits and 1 run. Masterson struck out 7 and walked only 3.

The Indians had their offense producing early in the game. Mark Reynolds was able to drive in Gomes with a single to center in the 2nd inning. In the 3rd, it was Ryan Raburn who smacked the first of his 2 home runs today. Raburn has been on fire the past few games.

His second home run came in the 7th and the Indians already had control of their own destiny by then. Cleveland has the longest winning streak in the major leagues right now. The Indians have now extended their streak to 8 games in a row.

They are currently 2 games out of first place and I can’t wait until this team does battle with Detroit next week. The Indians have got to send a message to the motor city kitties in this 4 game series.

If the Indians can take the series, the Tigers will be worried come September if the Indians continue to win games. This team is for real folks. It is time to get behind them and root for the home team.

Get down there and support the Cleveland Indians.
