The Cleveland Indians offense did a great job in last nights game. They were able to put 7 runs on the scoreboard to get the win over the Minnesota Twins. The Tribe started out with a 2 run blast from Carlos Santana that scored Kipnis, just like that the Indians were out in front 2-0.

Zach McAllister was pitching for the Indians and he pitched well once again. He pitched for 7-1/3 innings and gave up just 4 hits and 2 runs. The Indians are lucky to have McAllister back. He missed some time with a finger injury and he has picked up right where he left off before the injury.

The Indians would get some offense from Kipnis when he hit a home run in the 3rd inning that scored 2 runs. The Indians needed this production from guys like Kipnis and Santana. Nick Swisher the guy the Indians paid a ton of money to in the off-season hit a double in the 5th to drive in 2 more runs. It was the Indians 7 and the Twins 1 after Michael Brantley drove in Swisher with a base hit in the inning.

The Cleveland Indians are still in the chase of a wild card spot and they still have to face the first place Tigers again this season. The Indians remain 6 games back in the A.L. Central and 2-1/2 games out of the wild card spot.

They have to keep winning games….
