The Cleveland Indians continue their decent to the basement of the American League central division, Roberto Hernandez didn't pitch that bad, the Indians  couldn't get any runs across the plate. The Seattle hitters only Hit the former Fausto Carmona 3 times but the Tribe couldn't get their offense going once again. Jason Kipnis made it clear he wasn't going to give Felix Hernandez a chance at a no-hitter, Kipnis led off the game with a single to right field after watching 2 strikes go by him at the plate.

The Cleveland Indians are now 54-69 on the season, have another multi game losing streak going and are a game and a half behind the Kansas City Royals in 4th place. The Indians are in real trouble, the team needs a real overhaul and their entire starting rotation hasn't performed well in the second half. How the ship can be righted is anyone's guess. The Cleveland Indians need to replace a lot of guys to become a competitive team that can win in the second half of the season. With the loss of Josh Tomlin to Tommy John surgery the Indians already have one whole to fill in their rotation. Now they just need to find four more starters...
