It’s a good question. The Indians dropped their 3rd game in a row since leaving Texas, and the hottest hitter on the team, isn’t playing in game 1 against the Red Sox. What is Terry Francona up to? Why would he take a guy who is batting .385, and not play him?
It doesn’t make sense, and the Indians need to win. It’s disappointing to the fans, and we are sure it is disappointing to Chisenhall too. Francona must be know what he is doing, after all, he is one of the best managers in the major leagues.
The Indians lost to the Red Sox 5-2 last night, I don’t know whether Chisenhall would have made a difference, but it would have been nice to know.
You could say the Tribes starting pitching didn’t do its job last night. Tomlin struggled and he gave up 9 hits and 4 runs in the 5-2/3′s he worked. Then Francona brought Nick Hagadone in from the Bull-Pen, and many are wondering why he is still wearing an Indians uniform.
Hagadone has struggled with the Indians for a few season’s now. How long are the Indians going to allow him to stay on the team? Isn’t it time to send him packing?
Hopefully the Tribe can turn things around in Boston, they have 3-games left against the Red Sox and maybe they can take this series. It won’t be easy, especially if the Indians best hitter doesn’t have the chance to swing the bat.
