The Cleveland Indians lost game-5 of the 2016 World Series to the Chicago Cubs by a score of 3-2. So what's in the Tribe's future now? They'll be returning to Progressive Field to play game-6 on Tuesday night.
The Tribe will have to win the title at home, bringing the second world championship to Cleveland, in just 4 months. The Indians have 2 games to win the title. The Cubs trail the Indians in the series 3-2.
But we all know this Cubs team doesn't give up, and if you're an Indians fan, you'll also know there is no place like home. Progressive field will be rocking on Tuesday night. The Indians will send Josh Tomlin to the mound.
Tomlin did a great job, starting against the Cubs in Chicago. He was pulled from the game only giving up 2-hits, and he had a shut-out going.
If Tomlin can repeat that performance come Tuesday, and the Indians can get their bats going, the Indians could wrap up this World Series Championship in game-6.
But you better count on the Cubs being tough. Both Terry Francona and Cubs manager Joe Maddon will be pulling out all the stops. You can bank on it folks. It may come down to who makes the better moves during the game.
When it comes to making all the right moves, there is no one better in all of baseball than Francona. He is a manager that is able to get all he can out of his players. This will be an exciting game, and it's only right the Tribe wins this thing at home.
It isn't going to be easy, but nothing worth while ever is. Lets Go Tribe........ In Tito we trust!!!
