The Indians are hoping that Zach McAllister can add to the great work they saw from the mound in Cleveland yesterday. With a win today the Indians can take this series from the Tampa Bay Rays. The weather looks great for baseball in Cleveland and the Tribe is hoping McAllister looks just as good.
McAllister comes int today's game with a record of 4-4 and an ERA of 3.08. He has pitched well in every outing he has had in 2013. If the Tribe can give him some solid run support he can come away with a win today.
McAliister is a guy who learns quickly and the team's manager Terry Francona has been more than impressed by McAllister this season. If McAllister can go out and perform the way he has so far season, the Tribe can beat the Rays today. It may come down to the Indians offense. They have to continue to seek the consistency they need to get wins.
The team is slowly coming into its own and they are seeking what it takes to be a contender. The Bull pen needs to be glued together at times, but the starters are doing better than anyone thought they wold do this season.
The Tribe is only 1/2 game out of first place in the A.L. Central. A win today could put them on top.
