Clevealnd Indians TradeThe Cleveland Indians finally make an off season trade Yesterday The Tribe involved in a blockbuster deal with Cincinnati and Arizona .Chris Antonetti did his homework at the winter meetings, But this time it looks like The Tribe front office pulls a trade off for once that will help the team now and down the road.let’s look at Trevor Bauer Arizona’s 2011 3rd player chosen in the first round of the 2011 draft. He played college baseball at UCLA. He was highly regarded even the Indians scouted him.He is 6 -1 185 lbs Throws Right has great stuff just needs to command his fastball to go around his other pitches His four seam clocks at 97 two seamer clocks at 91-93 mph He is a top ten prospect in the game no doubt . He will be a front line pitcher for The Tribe soon.Great pickup, A lot of D Backs fans are upset today. Drew Stubbs CF from Cincy will improve the outfield if the Tribe is smart they will put Brantley back in LF Stubbs in CF.Stubbs is very athletic He has some power but needs to have a better eye at the plate, He strikes out more.
He has great speed on the bags, He stole 30 bases in 37 attempts this past season. Matt Albers is right handed his fastball clocks at 96 mph he is 29 and Bryan Shaw he is 25 throws right handed his fastball clocks at 97 mph both will make the Indians bullpen deeper. Shin Soo Choo Good player for the Tribe playing RF with a cannon arm.He was not coming back here after this year after The Indians have tried negotiate with his stubborn agent Boras, so the front office had to trade him It will be interesing to see how he plays CF for Cincy.Glad to see Tony Sipp go, nice guy but after his first year he just gives up too many homers at critical times .Jason Donald a utility fielder at best ? Lars Anderson unproven 1B prospect all traded. Another key factor also in this trade, the front office was able to free up more cash and can use it to go hard after Nick Swisher or someone they will need in RF .Also late last Sunday we picked up Mark Reynolds for 1B he had 23 homers in 135 games last year for Baltimore. Two years ago he hit 44 Hr’s for Arizona , now that would be nice again. So some great moves for The Indians ! Stay Tune Tribe Fans more is yet to come !! GO TRIBE !!!!
