Sunday October 1st, marked the last day of the regular 2017 MLB season. The Cleveland Indians came into their final game with 101 wins and some records that some can only dream about. It was and has been a magical season coming into game 162.

The Tribe sent Josh Tomlin to the mound. He continued to do what the others had done up to this point. He pitched well, and held Chicago to one run through 6 innings of solid pitching. The Indians would lead most of this game 3-1, and with the way the Tribes pitching staff throws, that's all Cleveland would need.

The fans in attendance on Saturday night, got  a real treat with a return of Dr. Smooth Michael Brantley as Tito sent him to the plate to pinch hit. Brantley who hasn't face a pitcher in game time conditions since Aug 8th didn't disappoint. He battled his way through 10 pitches to squeak out a base hit after fouling off 4.

This guy is unbelievable and the fans have to be hoping he makes the 25 man rooster for the play-offs. The Indians can wait until Thursday morning to finalize their 25 man play-off roster. It's clear Terry Francona has some tough choices to make.

The play-offs should be exciting with this Indians team, and I can't wait until Thursday when the Tribe takes the field......
