The Cleveland Indians must be hoping they found a guy that can get them some more saves coming out of the Bull Pen, they reached out to Matt Capps with a minor league deal that will at the very least get him a trip to spring training. Capps hasn’t pitched since June 15th and sat out the rest of the season with shoulder soreness. That doesn’t sound good and maybe he won’t make it to the big show with the Tribe. Nonetheless the Tribe is trying to improve their Bull-Pen. Whether or not Capps can help is yet to be seen.

Capps has 138 career saves in 444 appearances. He comes to the Cleveland Indians from Minnesota where the Twins refused their 6 million dollar option and gave Capps a 250,000 buy out instead. Lets hope the Cleveland Indians found a hidden gem. Right now it doesn’t look likely but who knows, he could make a heck of a come back.
