The Cleveland Indians again looked to have trouble with their offense. They didn’t get on the scoreboard until the 6th inning and the Royals had a 2 run lead since the 3rd inning. For the second night in a row it look like the Tribe was going to fall to the Kansas City Royals.

That was until the 8th inning when the Indians offense came to life. It started out with a Michael Bourn single to left field that drove in Ryan Raburn, then Jason Kipnis hit a double that would drive in Bourn.

Then it would be none other than the Indians left fielder Michael Brantley that would hot a sac fly to right to drive in Mike Aviles to give the Indians a one run lead. The Tribe started Ubaldo Jimenez in the game.

He worked for 5-2/3′s and he gave up 2 runs on 2 hits, he walked 4 and struck out 4. Jimenez didn’t have his best night on the mound but he did enough to help the Indians stay in the game. The Royals started Ervin Santana who pitched 7 innings for the Royals.

He held the Indians to one run on 3 hits. He struck out 6 and walked 2. The Indians are now back to .500 on the season at 35-35. They play the final game in the series against the Royals tonight and the Indians need to win this game to get back to one game over .500.
