The Cleveland Indians have now won 5 games in a row. They started their streak with 4 wins over the Tampa Bay Rays, and added their 5th win in a row, by beating the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-2 last night.

Trevor Bauer picked up his 7th win of the season. He pitched for 6-1/3 innings, and he struck out 3, gave up 3 hits and 2 earned runs.

Cleveland was able to jump out to an early lead, off the bat of their 1st baseman Brandon Moss who hit a two run blast in the 2nd, to give the Tribe a 2-0 lead. Cleveland would never fall behind in the game. They would add a run in the 5th, when Bourn hit a double to right that let Moss score.

The Pirates would find their only 2 runs of the game in the 5th, and the Indians would score 2 more in the 8th making it a 5-2 ball game. The Tribe is now on a 5-game win streak and they are 3-games under .500 on the season.

The Indians are 8-games back in the American League Central and trail in the wild-card race by 3-1/2 games. If Cleveland can continue to find the offense they've had in their last 5-games,things could get interesting for the Indians in the second half of the season.

The Indians will take on the Pirates again today. The game starts at 4:05 and it should be a good game. Lets see if the Cleveland Indians can win 6 in a row.
