The Cleveland Indians dropped another game some thought they should have won. The Indians lost to the Seattle Mariners 2-1 in a game that had very little offense. Ubaldo Jimenez pitched OK, he couldn’t keep the Mariners from scoring the run that would put them over the top because the Tribes offense was missing again.

Ubaldo pitched for 5-2/3′s and threw his typical 109 pitches. He gave up 2 earned runs and walked 4 batters and struck out 6. He didn’t pitch bad enough to lose but the Indians lack of run production cost the big man a chance at a win.

The Indians only run in the game came off a Nick Swisher home run in the 1st inning. That was it folks, that was the only run the Indians could put on the board against a team they should have been able to beat last night.

Aaron Harang was able to give Seattle 7 decent innings of pitching, he didn’t pitch that well, but he was able to keep the Indians off the board. Fro those of you who are watching the race in the A.L. Central, the Indians are now 2-1/2 games back and have a record of 52-47 on the season.

They have to find a way to win against the teams they should be beating. The Mariners have a record of 47-52 on the season. Cleveland has to win against a team with a losing record.
