Who said the Cleveland Indians aren’t in it to win, they just signed Michael Bourn an all star center fielder to a 4 year 48 million dollar deal. Terry Francona is building a winner in Cleveland and it could come sooner rather than later. Bourn comes to the Indians from the Atlanta Braves where he played last season. He has a .272 lifetime batting average and he hits for power too. He could be the next Kenny Lofton for the Indians, he has 276 career stolen bases.

Bourn has played for the Philadelphia Phillies, the Houston Astros in the past and should really be able to help the Indians in the out field. Now Michael Brantley can return to left field. Lets Go Tribe……

Hey, LG. Long time no see. Anyway, I for one love the moves that the Dolans and the Tribe are making this off-season. Terry Francona at manager, Nick Swisher, and now, Michael Bourn. At least now we cannot blame the Dolans for being cheapskates if things go south this coming season. Let’s hope that Francona takes this job seriously and whips players like Jiminez, Santana, and Cabrerra into shape.

On a side note, the Philly PD should have given Chip Kelley a breathalizer and a drug test for hiring you-know-who as offensive coordinator.

Great to see ya back David. I too think the Tribe is making some great moves. I can’t wait to see what happens….
