The Cleveland Indians started the second half and now find themselves in third place a 1/2 behind the Detroit Tigers in the A.L. Central. The Tribe dropped two games in Toronto and the left the door open for the Tigers to walk into second place behind the Sox. The Indians travel to take on Tampa Bay Rays for a four game series. The Indians will send Zach McAllister to the mound who seems to pitch great for four or five innings in each of his starts. Then for some reason McAllister seems to fall apart.
The Cleveland Indians need McAllister to have a good outing and the Tribe needs their offense to produce. Guys that need to be hitting are not doing the job. Carlos Santana is in a terrible slump and Cabrera and Kipnis need to produce a little more offensively. The Indians need to make a move that brings some more consistent offense to the team if they truly expect to contend for a play-off spot this season.
The Indians need to get their offense back to firing on all cylinders.
