The Cleveland Indians opened their west-coast road trip with a win over the Angles 6-3 last night. The win extends their current winning streak to 3-game in a row. They now have a record of 94-57 on the season, and have a 16 game lead in the AL Central over the 2nd place team.

Mike Clevinger got the start for the Indians. He worked 6 innings and gave up 6 hits, 1 earned run, he walked 2 and struck out 6. Then Andrew Miller came in and got some work on the big-league level.

Miller struck out one. Having him ready for post season play will be huge for the Indians. Then Francona used Shaw & Allen. It took until the 4th inning until the Indians were able to score a run, which came off a Bruce double to deep center that drove in Encarnaion.

In the 5th inning, Perez homered to center giving the Indians a 2-0 lead. The Indians would give up a run to the Angels in the 5th, but they came back in the 6th inning and scored another run off a Diaz singled that drove in Bruce.

The Tribe would score 3 more runs in the 9th and would go on to win the game. This team is playing some incredible baseball. It's going to be an exciting fall for the Indians and their fans. Be sure to continue to support your Cleveland Indians....
