The Good News is the Cleveland Indians have won the American League Central, by beating the Detroit Tigers 7-4. The Bad news is the Indians number one starting pitcher, Corey Kluber had to exit the game after just four innings with a groin injury.

Kluber was having problems pushing off his drive leg, and manager Terry Francona felt it was best to sit Kluber, so he could heal and be ready for the post season. Francona told Kluber he didn't think the Indians would go far without him.

The Tribe still has 3-games left against the Tigers, and then they finish the regular season in Kansas City this weekend.

The Indians jumped out in front of the Tigers, with a 2-run blast off the bat of Coco Crisp in the 2nd inning. The Tigers would come right back with a 2-run blast of their own off the bat of J.D. Martinez .

Cleveland would score 2-more runs in the 5th, one off the bat of Jason Kipnis who doubled to deep center, and the other coming off the bat of Napoli that would score Kipnis.

Detroit would add another run in the fifth, and it was the Cleveland Indians 4 and the Detroit Tigers 3 after five.

In the 7th inning, the Indians catcher, Roberto Perez hit s solo blast over the right-field wall giving the Tribe a 2-run lead over the Tigers. Detroit would score another run of their own in the 7th and after 7, it was Cleveland 5 and the Tigers 4.

Perez would come up to bat in the 8th for the Tribe, and he hit a single to center that would score Crisp and move Davis to second. Cleveland scored their 7th and final run in the 8th, off a throwing error by the Tigers right-fielder J.D. Martinez.

Congratulations to Terry Francona and the entire roster of the Cleveland Indians on winning the American League Central. Lets hope the Indians can get Kluber healthy and the Indians can contend and go to the World Series this year.

They have one of the best bull-pens in all of baseball. Again Congratulations on the win and the A.L.Central title......
