The Cleveland Indians took over the top spot in the American League Central, with their shut-out win over the Chicago White Sox last night.

What's more impressive than the shut out, is the fact the Tribe only used 1-pitcher for the entire game. His name is Corey Kluber, and he pitch all 9-innings. Kluber only gave up 3 hits and he only walked 2 batters while striking out 9.

Kluber is one of the best pitchers in all of baseball, and I am so glad he is a Cleveland Indian.

The Indians got on the board in the 3rd inning off a Jose Quintana wild pitch. Then they scored 2 more runs in the 4th when Brandon Guyer hit a home-run toe center-field that drove in Kipnis.

After that the game became a pitcher's duel, one that Kluber took control of and never looked back. With the win the Indians moved to 9-7 on the season, and that win also put them one game ahead of the Tigers in the Central.

The Tribe will take on the White Sox again today, game-time is at 7:10p.m. It's good to see things coming together for the Indians. It is going to be an exciting season, and if all the guys can stay healthy it is going to get very interesting after the All-Star break.

Kluber's performance last night, will be an inspiration for the rest of the Tribes starting rotation. He used a lot of off-speed stuff in the game, and that worked very well for him.
