The struggling Cleveland Cavaliers play the Miami Heat tonight, we all know what this means. The return of LeBron James to where his NBA career all got started.
Some fans in Cleveland have tried to organize a campaign to get James to come back and play for the Cavaliers again. The media even had Anderson Varejao talking about the return of LeBron in an interview recently.
Interesting enough, Varejao said he didn’t like the way James left the Cavs, but he learn a lot from him about the game of basketball and he would welcome him back with open arms and it could happen one day.
Cleveland needs something to get this team to play competitive basketball. The Cavs are 4-10 and the Heat are 11-3 this season.
The Cavs are going to have a difficult time playing the Heat if they play like they did in San Antonio. The Cavs got blown out in that game and the Heat is playing inspired basketball and they are the defending world champions.
Somehow, Mike Brown has to get his guys to play better offense. Cleveland needs to start forcing the issue by driving the ball to the hole and making baskets.
They waste too many opportunities to score by throwing up to many outside shots. They need to drive into the paint and get the ball to the hole and slam it down.
The team has to make a showing tonight. If they play like they did in their last game, they are going to have trouble with the Heat.
It will be interesting to see is anyone pulls any stunts to get LeBron back to Cleveland.
