The Cleveland Cavaliers plaKyrie Irving scores 40yed great on and off the court all day and night. First let’s talk about tonight’s game against The Boston Celtics at the Q. The Cleveland Cavaliers played one of their best games this season beating  Boston 95 – 90, sending The Celts to four losses in a row.

Kyrie Irving stole the show in the first quarter He scored 19 in the first quarter hitting 8 of 10 from the floor and then closes the game out, scoring 11 points in the last 2 minutes and 33 seconds left in the game. He had  four layups and three free throws.  You have to love the way Kyrie is growing into the NBA, A Great Pick ! Tristan Thompson had 21 points and 9 rebounds for The Cavs. Thompson is playing even better with A V being out for the season.

Rajon Rondo Scored 17 and Paul Pierce had only 12 points. A nice win for the home team tonight. Now let’s get back to earlier in the day, The Cavs played  trade partners with The Memphis Grizzlies who were unloading 3 players and a protected 1st rd draft pick, because they need to get under the cap and were able to keep Rudy Gay and Zach Randolph. Coming to Cleveland  Forward Marreese Speights who can play Center too, Guards Wayne Ellington and Josh Selby and  a Protected 1st rd Pick to Cleveland for Forward Jon Leuer. Man what a steal by The Cavs,More trades like this and they will be in the playoffs soon.

Speights was Rudy Gay’s back up and Ellington was Zach Randoph’s. This trade helps The Cavaliers at the guard positions giving  them much more depth and bench strength. The best part is now we have another protected 1st rd pick in which they can keep or trade. So it was another snowy and cold January day but today started well and the night finished well too !
