The Cleveland Cavaliers returned to their home court and pulled off a 93-92 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.  The team saw more minutes from their big man Andrew Bynum who played 19 minutes and scored 10 points.

Bynum also had 4 rebounds and 1 assist in the game. The Cavs and the fans have to be happy with what they’re seeing so far from Bynum, who many thought wouldn’t see any action until after the first of the year.

C.J. Miles led the team in scoring coming in off the bench and playing 19 minutes himself, Miles scored 19 points had 5 rebounds and 1 assist. So far this season Miles had played an important role.

The Cavaliers got a dozen from the wild thing Anderson Varejao who also had 6 rebounds, he is back to where he was last season before going down with an injury.

Tristan Thompson and Kyrie both played well, Thompson scored 12 and Irving scored 15 points on the night. All and all this was a team victory, lots of guys contributed to the win and obviously there is no place like home. The Cavs get back to .500 with the win and are 2-0 at home.

Cleveland came into the game with the lowest performing offense in the NBA, they were only seeing Kyrie shooting 34% on the season. Teams are trying to stop Kyrie with doubling up on him and this has slowed his production a bit.

It shouldn’t take long for Irving to figure out a way to use his speed to break away and score more points. It was a close game that  the Cavs dominated until they let up and let the Timberwolves back into . It is good to see them get this win, they needed it.
