The Cleveland Browns and Robert Griffin III, have come to terms on a 2-year-deal. The Browns have themselves a new quarterback, and this move may have many wondering if the team with still draft a QB with the 2nd pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Griffin seems extremely excited to be the newest quarterback, for the Cleveland Browns. He had this to say about the move;
"I'm excited to come in and compete. Nothing has ever been given to me in my life. So I just want to go out and compete with the guys and grow with this team. I feel like that's all I am really focused on. I cherish the opportunity to get another chance at playing this beautiful game."
No comes the hard part. Griffin has spent a lot of time on the injury list. We all know what this guy is capable of on the field. The tough part, may be the Browns, offensive line protecting this guy.
With all the talent the Browns have lost in free agency, I wonder if Griffin can stay healthy, long enough to make a difference in Cleveland. Hue Jackson is a wizard at working with QB's.
Maybe he can get RGIII, to stay in the protection scheme the Browns will have to offer. It isn't going to be easy, but the Browns went out and signed a QB, who has been a difference maker in his NFL career.
No the question becomes, on whether or not, RGIII, can make a difference in Cleveland.
