The Cleveland Browns remain perfect in their quest to acquire the number one pick, in the 2018 NFL draft. They lost to the New York Jets by a score of 17-14, to move to 0-5 on the season.

It could have been much worse, but in the late minutes of the 4th quarter, Hogan was able to move the Browns down the field, using the hurry-up offense before unloading a 41-yard touchdown pass to Duke Johnson.

Then, in true Cleveland Browns football fashion, they didn't recover the on-side kick. The Jets recovered the ball, and were able to run out the clock seeing as the Browns had already used all of their time outs.

The Browns have tried to build a competitive franchise, for the past 18 years. No team in the history of the NFL has wasted more first round picks than Cleveland. If they manage to get the first round pick in the 2018 NFL draft, it's difficult to see how they can improve the team with it.

They've proven time and time again they have no clue about how to build an NFL team.

The front office is pieced together with people who have no clue. The owner of the Browns has no clue, even after he spent years as a minority owner with the Pittsburgh Steelers.  You would think Haslam would have learned something about running an NFL team while there, but it's clear he didn't.

The fans are growing disenchanted with the Browns. This is something that should have happened several years ago in Cleveland, but Browns fans are a tough bunch. Some seem to feel that bad football is better than no football at all.

While they may be right about the no football thing, even they have to be getting tired of all this losing. Nest week the Browns will travel to Texas to take on the Texans. I can't see the Browns wining against a team that is 2-2 on the season, but anything is possible. We will have to wait until the Texans play the undefeated Chiefs tonight to see how tough a team they are this year.

But as far as the Browns are concerned, this team is in need of a major overhaul, from the front office down. Haslam has to hire real football people to run this team, but that might be very difficult to pull off after they've seen how he has run the Browns up to now.

It's going to be a very long season for Browns fans AGAIN!!!!
