The 5-8 Cleveland Browns come into the game against the Washington Redskins getting 1-1/2 points. The odds makers must not be taking the team as serious as the fans do. In Cleveland the fans are excited to see the Cleveland Browns get their 4th win in a row. Can the Browns do it? The Redskins defense isn't that good, however in order for Cleveland to get a win Brandon Weeden is going to have to avoid making mistakes that would lead to turnovers. Weeden has been improving at protecting the football lately, some of his interceptions have been dropped by the defense of the opposing teams. Lets hope Sunday Weeden doesn't create opportunities for the Redskins offense.
The Browns defense has been playing great over the past several weeks. If they face RGIII it will be interesting to see which RGIII they face. Griffin may be forced to stand in the pocket and throw the ball instead of taking off and running due to his sore knee. If Griffin has to throw the ball the Browns secondary could make a serious impact and create some turnovers. The main problem the Browns will have is knowing which RGIII is going to play in the game. His knee may not be as bad as people say and he could surprise everyone and be able to run.
Either way, this could be a close football game. Getting 1-1/2 points is not that much and the Cleveland Browns may be able to surprise people. The Browns have to prove they can compete with teams that play better football, tomorrow is the first test to see if their for real.
