The National Football League has asked all teams to remember Art Modell with a moment of silence tomorrow as the 2012 NFL season opens. Tonight at 9 or immediately after the Akron Zips football game Join me “LG” “The Voice of Cleveland Sports” as I join Jerry Mires AKA “J-Rocc Daddy” live in the WHK Studio co-hosting the “Sports Fix Show“. We will be joined live by some of the Cleveland Browns legends all the way back to the Cardiac Kids days including the Lendary Head Coach Himself Sam Rutigliano to remember what it was like to work for Browns Owner Art Modell and what it was like to walk out onto the Browns field as the electricity filled the air for opening day of the N.F.L. Season.
We will also hear from former greats such as “The Thiller” Micahel Jackson, “The Toe Don Cockroft, Runningback Greg “Do-It” Pruitt, Browns running back Herman Fontenot, plus Jonathan Knight (JKnightWriter). We will be talking about the up-coming 2012 Browns season, how we think Brandon Weeden will do, what we think about the Browns offensive and defensive units and all kinds of other stuff.

Ohhh I remember art outthedoortobaltimore modell. Believe me when I say I wont ever forget him. Now with that said this too needs to be said…. I remember him as the jerk ( trying to keep it clean here ) who tried to steal my Cleveland Browns from me. Me and all those who join in hating this man with me are allowed to feel they we want about him. I am tired of hearing people say get over it. I say to them don’t get over it. Let the hate continue on burning as bright now and forever as it did the day he tried to slink of with the Browns!
I really don’t get why you guys are so still hating Art Modell. You got your your Cleveland Browns, your colors, your traditions, and you trophys. You got your stadium partly paid by NFL money in 3 years. That is all Art wanted was a stadium or help to fix up that dungeon of a stadium. He was turned down 3 time after being told that the City would build a stadium. You got a new arena, baseball, and Rock and Roll HOF. Baltimore had their beloved Baltimore Colt skip out in the middle of the night without warning. Irsay lied and told the city he had no intention of leaving. We lost of it it. Name, tradition, colors, and all the awards. It took 12 years for Baltimore to get a team. We tried by expansion buy Redskin loving and best friend of Jack Kent Cook Paul Tagliabue kept that from happening twice. Tagliabue accually told Baltimore to go build a museum or factory. So stop crying and move forward.

Yeah, I saw that. It looks like David Modell saved the City of Cleveland a huge black eye…We all know it wouldn’t have been a good thing. People can’t let go of all the hate….
