Heading into the big 10 championship game, Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer is concerned about his teams pass defense. This concern comes with good reason.

The Buckeyes gave up over 400 yards passing against Michigan this past week and now that the team is getting to face Michigan State in the title game, Meyer probably heard the remarks of Michigan State quarterback saying; I'm licking my chops to face the Ohio State Buckeyes defense.

Meyer has to find a way to get his defense to do better. While no team has been able to keep up with the Buckeyes offensive performance this season, the defense is making it more difficult to find wins.

The game was much closer than it had to be last Saturday. The Buckeyes defense did a terrible job tackling as well. This week in the title game Meyer is expecting his Buckeyes defense to do a better job.

The Michigan State defense is one of the best in the country and they aren't going to make it easy for the Buckeyes to score. With Braxton Miller and Carlos Hyde getting production with their legs, Meyer has to be worried about Michigan State being able to shut down the Buckeyes rushing game.

If they can do that, they may force Miller to do it all with his arm this week. Then the points may not be as easy to come by. Meyer has a real concern with the Buckeyes defense.

If they can't stop the Michigan State passing game, the Buckeyes may lose this game. Michigan States defense is tough, Meyer knows this and he has to get his defense up to the task of shutting down the Michigan State Offense.

Lets hope he can be successful, otherwise Meyer could be facing his first loss as the Buckeyes head coach.
