Kyrie Irving & Tristian Thompson help beat the bucksThe NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving put in 35 points tonight to help the Cleveland Cavaliers down the Milwaukee Bucks 113-108. The Cavs were down by as much as 20 points at times, Kyrie and company including Marreese Speights and Shaun Livingston helped the Cavs overcome the deficit to go on and collect the teams 12th win on the season. Hey 12 may not be that many but a win is a win and when it comes to the Cleveland Cavaliers you have to take them as you get them.

Speights scored 10 points coming in off the bench and Livingston downed 12 bench points of his own. The Clevealnd Cavaliers looked good as a team tonight and there was no quit in their game. The Cavs played defense when they had to and the offense woke up when it had to. The Cleveland Cavaliers got 18 points from Tristan Thompson and the rookie Dion Waiters hit for 16 as the Cavs were firing on all cylinders tonight.

There were times in the game when it looked like head coach Byron Scott should have taken a technical with some of the calls the refs were making, but he didn’t and the Cavs rallied anyways. Sometime it would be nice to see Scott become a little more involved. You just never know if that is the spart this young Cavaliers team needs to become ignited.

It is great to see Kyrie continue to show why he is going to the NBA All-Star game. If this kid can continue to play at the level he is capable of, he will be one of the very best point guards in the NBA.
