Former head coach of the Cleveland Browns is still producing winners after all these years, these days Rutigliano is focusing on helping  inner city youth in our Cleveland Neighborhoods.  Each year the former coach teams up with Dr. Gregory Collins  of the Cleveland Clinic to host a Golf Outing to raise funds for inner city kids. You may remember Rutigliano and Collins started “Sam’s Inner Circle” back in the late 70′s to help professional football players overcome their addiction to cocaine. In the late 70′s cocaine was widely used by professional athletes, Rutigliano and Collins were pioneers in bring a program to an N.F.L. team to help players kick this addiction.

Today Rutigliano and Dr. Collins are still at it with “Sam’s Inner Circle Foundation”, these days the things they are fighting to kick, has more to do with helping inner city youth not to stay illiterate.  Through Sam’s Inner Circle Foundation they are able to give resources to get these kids the tools they need to become successful.

Monday, August 6th Sam’s Inner Circle Foundation will be hosting their Golf Outing to raise some of the funds necessary to help lead these kids to learning.
