The Lake Erie Invaders kick off their 2011 season today with a preseason game starting at 3:00 this afternoon. If you’re not doing anything why not get down to Osborn Park in Willoughby, Ohio to watch as the Invaders battle the Silverhawks in the first pre-season game of the 2011 season. Osborn park is located at 38575 Lakeshore Blvd. Willoughby, Ohio. Where else can you take in a football game for free. These guys are hard hitting minor league football players who play the game for the Love of the sport, not for millions of dollars.
The players have the passion it takes to truly enjoy the love of the game. SO get down to Osborn Park to watch some football, and check out the new Lake Erie Iron Maidens dance team too. These girls will keep you entertain during the game too. Who knows? This could be the only football you see this year with the NFL lockout still looming, so pack the family in the car and watch the Invaders vs Silverhawks Preseason Game.
