The Cleveland Cavaliers completely over-powered the Orlando Magic last night. Many were wondering before the game started, about if the coach should play Kyrie Irving who was ready to returned after his shoulder injury.
The answer was yes, Irving is a guy who can help the Cleveland Cavaliers win, and he did that last night. Kyrie hit for 17 points in the 21 point margin of victory. He had 8 assists showing he is willing to do whatever it takes to help the Cavs chaise down the last play-off spot.
Kyrie also had 6 rebounds on the night. His return didn’t hurt the Cavs chances at all. Cleveland is down to 6 games and every one of those 6 games count. The team has to keep winning to give them a chance of post season play.
While is was Irving that helped the Cavs win, it was Dion Waiter leading the way with 20 points and Tristan Thompson had 20 points as well. Waiters is turning out to be one of the best players on the team.
Once Waiters and Irving learn to work together well, they will be one of the best combinations in the NBA. Thompson is no slouch either, he is a gamer and he fights to get to the basketball.
Tristan led the Cavs in rebounds with 11 on the night. Cleveland is showing they aren’t giving up, and they are fighting to try and get to the play-offs. With 6 games left in the regular season, it is coming down to the wire for your Cleveland Cavaliers……
