Kyrie Irving Help the Cavaliers tonight in Detroit. It was a different Irving than we saw Monday in Cleveland, Kyrie was over his nerves and helped the Cavaliers control the game in Detroit this evening. Irving scored a dozen in the first half and the rest of the Cavaliers all did their part to insure the Cavs could play a competitive game. This Cavaliers team looked completely different tonight.

Coach Byron Scott really did an outstanding job getting these guys ready to do battle in Detroit tonight. Even with all the Cavalier turnovers the Cavs were still able to control the game for the most part. Detroit came out after the half and for a moment it looked like the Cavaliers lost interest, then the momentum came back to this young Cavaliers team. There wasn’t a Cavs player that wasn’t getting involved.

Gee,Sessions,Gibson and Samuels they all got going in the second half tonight. In the fourth quarter with 8 minutes left to play Samuels really started to flow and his defense looked good too. Tristan Thompson’s defense shined again in the fourth period tonight. Thompson looks as though he could have been the number one pick. Thompson’s defense gets more outstanding as the game goes on.

It was a well balanced attack for the Cavaliers who may not have had this type of team work for years. See what happens when you have no LeBron James there? The team plays like a team. The Cavaliers defensive effort was fantastic tonight. Offensively the Cavaliers had a lot of contributors tonight.  Six Cavaliers in double figures tonight.

Kyrie Irving had 14 points and 7 assists, The Cavaliers bench scored 56 points tonight. The Cavs had 40 rebounds and shot 57%. Shooting like that helped the team beat Detroit tonight 105-89, this was the Cavaliers largest margin of victory with Byron Scott as the head coach. The Cavaliers truly mad this a team victory tonight, ten guys had a lot of minutes. Byron Scott did an excellent job with his people tonight.

The Cavaliers take on Indiana Friday and the team playing like this I’m sure the fans are looking forward to that game.
