What can we say about Corey Kluber, that hasn't been said already. This guy is one of the best pitchers in all of baseball, and last night in game-1 of the World Series he proved it again.
Kluber struck out 8 batters in the first 3 innings of play, this is a World Series record folks. This guy pitched 6 innings of shut-out baseball, against a team that has some pretty good hitters on it. He held the Cubs scoreless.
Then there was the Indians catcher, Roberto Perez, who hit two home runs that drove in 4 RBI's. This Cleveland Indians team once again is proving everyone wrong. This team never had a chance to win according to all the so called experts, and they continue to prove they can do it.
There is a lot of baseball left to play in the 2016 World Series, but if the Tribe continues to play the way they have played throughout the post season, they are going to be tough to beat.
Then there is the kid, who plays short-stop for the Indians. He hit .750 in last night's game going 3 for 4 and has a stolen base. Francisco Lindor is a star folks. This kid is unstoppable.
Tonight the Indians will send Bauer to the mound, hopefully he can make it further into the game than he did in the ALCS. If the Indians can go up 2-0 in the series, before making the trip to Chicago, it would be a big help.
And how about the job that Andrew Miller did? Sure he made you nervous, but he once again was able to work his way out of a jam, and he was brought to the Indians via a trade for some future prospects. This could go down as one of the best trades the Indians have ever made......
Lets Go Tribe!!!
