Josh Cribbs the Cleveland Browns play maker would like to be able to play on special teams where he started his career with the Cleveland Browns. It is not that Cribbs is un-happy with his role on the Browns offense it is Cribbs knows first hand how a big play on special teams can swing the momentum during a game. The Browns just scored a touchdown against the Raiders yesterday when the Raiders returned the Browns kick for a touchdown.  If that wasn’t bad enough the Raiders pulled off a fake and ran that in for a score too.

Cribbs said, “I feel like I can really help the team on special teams,” “Not taking anything away from this team, if I give my all to this team, I feel I can do that more on special teams. I feel like the most important thing on this team is special teams, not offense or defense. You run a kickoff back, your offense isn’t out there; the defense isn’t out there.”  Josh Cribbs is a team player and he will contribute where ever the Browns need him to play. Cribbs was a standout on the Browns Special teams and I for one think Cribbs could help.

As Jacoby Ford made the biggest special teams play of the game, Josh Cribbs could only stand on the sideline and watch. Cribbs said. “I’ve been playing special teams for years now and have been leading the team for years. I feel I’m a dynamic special teams player. I need to refocus on how I got into the league, that’s special teams, making tackles, do what I do, helping the guys and doing my part.” Josh Cribbs should indeed be given the chance to once again contribute on the Browns special teams….
