How about that Cleveland Browns defense? All week-long we heard how A.J. Green, the Bengals receiver was going to burn Joe Haden. Well. that didn’t happen today. As a matter of fact not only did Joe Haden play a great game, the guy who played even better goes by the name of Buster Skrine.

Skrine had a fantastic game against the Bengals. he busted up more passes than Joe Haden and he made a great interception to help his Browns defense shut down one of the best offenses in the NFL. Hard to be leave we are giving praise to Skrine you say, right?

Well get used to it, Skrine is starting to look like an all pro corner back. He has elevated his play to a level we didn’t think he was capable of. Skrine is quickly becoming one of the players in the Cleveland secondary that could be labeled a play-maker.

There is no doubt we are seeing a much improved Buster Skrine this season. He has broken up some big passing attempts and he is just as equally responsible for the Cleveland defense being ranked so high as any other player on the team.

Yes, Buster Skrine has decided to show up and play corner-back on an NFL level. This guy is so improved, it won’t be long before we have another Minnifield and Dixon combination in the Cleveland defensive secondary.

The Dawgs are back folks and one of them came out of a guy people were willing to cast aside just weeks ago. Buster Skrine just might be turning into the shut down corner the Browns needed opposite Joe Haden.

Stay tuned, the story will be continued.

LG, I agree and I had flashbacks to those days of Minnifield & Dixon! . I think Skrine is and has been learning and playing off of Haden.
