The Cleveland Browns take on the New England Patriots this Sunday. Making the start at quarterback for the Browns, will be Jason Campbell. Campbell is returning from a concussion and many think he is still feeling the effects of the rib injury he suffered in the game against the Ravens.

The Browns went out and signed two young quarterbacks when Weeden went out with concussion like symptoms after his loss to the Jaguars. Many still can’t recall the play that caused Weeden’s concussions and some are hoping his concussion like symptoms last throughout the rest of the regular season.

The question now becomes whether Jason Campbell can last through the game. If he can’t who will the Browns turn to? Will it be the trick shot artist Alex Tanney or will they go with the team’s latest signing Hanie.

A lot of fans would like to see Tanney get a shot at showing people what he can do in a game-time situation. Tannney’s claim to fame comes from his youtube video showing his highly accurate arm. Many are wondering if he can be this accurate while facing pressure from the opposing teams defense.

Tanney has another week of practice with the Browns offense under his belt. He said in a recent statement, he is making progress learning the Browns offensive system. If Campbell goes down, you have to wonder if Chud will give Tanney a chance at playing.

Many aren’t giving the Browns a chance of winning against the Patriots and Tom Brady. The Patriots have lost some games this season to teams that shouldn’t have won. The Browns defense is going to have to step up and force the issue Sunday.

If they can keep Brady off the field, it could give the Browns a chance at a win. Brady is one of the best of all time in the NFL. The Browns are going to have their hands full this Sunday, that’s for sure.

Well LG, knowing that Campbell is the starter, I just hope that Coach Chud didn’t just pick Campbell too soon just based on two good days of practice. And hopefully the training staff did not prematurely clear him. But even with that said, let’s hope he can make it through the whole game. And please Browns, keep Weeden off the field the rest of the season, if it can be helped.
