What can we say that's positive about a professional football team that is now 0-3 on the season? Here we go, the Cleveland Browns somehow managed to take the Miami Dolphins into over-time before they lost this one folks.
I guess that's a positive. But imagine if the Browns filed goal kicker hadn't missed those kicks, the Browns might have avoided over-time and the team would have come away with their first victory of the 2016 NFL season.
But that wasn't the case. The Browns place kicker Cody Parkey didn't miss one or two field goals, he managed to miss 3 field goal attempts. The first miss was from 41-yards. His second miss was from 42 yards and his 3rd miss of the game was from 46-yards.
I'd say the Browns best be out looking for a kicker that could make some pretty average field goals. You aren't going to win many contests, if your team can't kick what I call some pretty average field goals.
It's almost like the Browns invent ways to lose games. I mean seriously, I can't even remember when a Cleveland kicker managed to miss 3-filed goals in the same game. I'm sure it's happened, but I can't recall when.
Lets talk about some positives. Cody Kessler, the Browns rookie quarterback managed to throw 33 passes without an interception. To me that's a positive.
Briean Boddy Calhoun managed to score a defensive touchdown for the Browns, on an interception. This is another positive thing for the Browns. It might get better by next game folks. The team can score points, and if they can get their field-goal kicker to make some pretty average kicks, they might just be able to pull off a win.....
