In a game that had the hearts of Indians fans almost coming to a stop, the Cleveland Indians found a run in the 11th inning to get the win over the Houston Astros. I don’t know what it is about this Indians team, every time they play a team they should beat, they struggle.

Indians first baseman Nick Swisher had a big night at the plate, he went 4 for 4 and he scored the first run for Cleveland when Jason Kipnis singled him in. The Indians sent Ubaldo Jimenez to the mound for the start and he held the Astros to one run in the 6 innings he worked.

Jimenez had another good start, he struck out 9 batters and didn’t give up a walk. The Indians got a scare when closer Chris Perez struggled to do his job. Perez has kept it interesting this season. to say the least.

The Tribe used 5 pitchers in the game and they were able to find the win. They are still in the race and looking to get into the play offs with a wild card appearance.  They play the Astros again tonight and it is dollar dog night.

Get down to Progressive field and support the Cleveland Indians tonight. They need our support.
