Peyton Hillis the Cleveland Browns halfback that returned to practice yesterday and reported he was doing fine is out aging today with hamstring problems. Hillis said he was tired of talking contract after yesterdays practice isn’t helping his cause this year with regards to getting a new contract. Hillis is missing lots of time and he hasn’t really performed that well in the games he played in this season. 211 yards is all Hillis ranked up in his Browns uniform this season.
Coach Pat Shurmur said, “he hopes Hillis can play on Sunday”. Hillis will have to take it day by day and see how he feels Sunday at game time. I think we are going to see lots of Hardesty carries again this week and I liked what I saw last week with the new guy too. Maybe the Browns won’t even miss Hillis this week. One thing is for sure, the Browns have to get some offensive points on the board. The team hasn’t scored an offensive touchdown in the first quarter of any game they have played in yet this season….
