The return of Mike Brown as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, seemed like a good idea at the time. He was supposed to get the Cavs to play better defense.
Last night the Cavaliers were completely blown out by the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-95. The Cavs now have a record of 3-6 on the season and continue to lose games on the road.
Dan Gilbert took to twitter and asked Cavs fans to be patient and he cautioned it would take a while for the Cleveland Cavaliers to get their program straightened out.
Then there is the pick of Anthony Bennett, some think he isn’t going to pan out in the NBA from what he has shown so far this season. It is an adjustment period, that is for sure. But his struggles to make baskets have people panicking about the pick.
Mike Brown has his work cut out for himself, he has to find some way to put a spark under this team. The guys don’t show the intensity needed to be a competitive basketball team.
They need to play hard for the entire game and they need to show more aggressiveness going to the basket offensively. The team is throwing up to many low percentage shots.
It’s almost like the guys are afraid to get physical offensively. Mike Brown has to find a way to turn this team around.
