A sharp Ubaldo Jimenez is just what the Cleveland Indians starting rotation needs.  Jimenez pitched into the 8th inning only giving up one run until then. Jimenez may be finding the form under the watchful eye of Terry Francona and the Indians pitching coach Mickey Callaway.

Ubaldo said; “I felt really good,” “I was able to be around the zone, attack the strike zone and get ahead most of the time. I feel like I’m ready for the season. I have a lot of confidence out there about throwing strikes. It doesn’t matter if I fall behind in the count. I trust myself to come back in the count.”

Jimenez should have one more cactus league start before his first start of the regular season in Toronto on April 3. The Indians could use the big man being on top of his game. If he continues to bring his stuff to the mound the way he did on Sunday, he should be able to produce a decent season for the team.
