The Cleveland Indians sent Derek Lowe packing, the 39-year-old pitcher who started the season for the Indians at 6-1 has done nothing lately except watch his E.R.A. sky-rocket as the Indians lost games to teams they should have beat. Tonight the Indians will be sending Corey Kluber to the mound to start against the Kansas City Royals. Kluber pitched a few innings last season and gave up 4 earned runs in the 4.1 innings he worked. Is Kluber going to be the answer to get this Indians starting rotation back to winning games?
We don’t know, we do know one thing, the Indians are in a slump and if they don’t start to turn things around the Cleveland Indians need to think about making some serious changes, including the front office and or coaching and manager spots. Somehow, someone needs to get this team motivated. This Indians line up is capable of playing better than what we are seeing in this second half in which the Indians are 6-13….
