The Cleveland Indians sent Trevor Bauer to the mound in-game 4 against the Baltimore Orioles, on Sunday, the result is, the Indians left Baltimore winning only 2 games against Baltimore. Bauer is still struggling to find his big league form. He pitches only, 4-1/3 innings and gave up 6 hits and 4 runs before manager Terry Francona decided he had seen enough.

Bauer, for some reason hasn’t been able to find his consistency on the major league scene. He seems to let things effect him a bit too much. If he doesn’t get the call, from the ump he wants, you can tell it gets into his head and it takes him a while to recover.

He may be thinking too much while out on the mound. He has to find a way to let things go, and just throw the baseball. He has the tools and he can do it when he isn’t letting things get into his head, but finding a way to get him to let things go, might be the next step needed, to get him ready for prime time.

He is still young, and the Indians have to be patient with him, but the team still needs a guy in the rotation they can count on. It would be nice if it could be Trevor Bauer. It just doesn’t look like he is ready as of yet.
