Zach McAllister was able to help the Cleveland Indians beat the Angels last night. McAllister pitched for 6-1/3 innings only giving up 5 hits that surrendered 1 run.He struck out 5 while only walking 2, he was in control of his pitches and it is great to see he is back to the form he once had before the injury.

The Indians offense came alive scoring 5 runs. They got on the board with a big 4 run fourth inning. The rally started when Carlos Santana hit a single to right-center that drove in Kipnis. Then the old guy Jason Giambi hit a sac fly to right that would score Santana and Cabrera moved to 3rd base.

Then is would be touch them all time when Lonnie Chisenhall hit a home run to right field that would score Cabrera. It was great to see the Indians line up come alive. The Indians have the power on the team to produce runs, they just need to stay focused on getting it done.

The final run the Indians would score came off the bat of Cleveland’s highest paid athlete Nick Swisher who hit a home run to right field in the 9th.

The Indians are now 67-58 on the season and still 6-1/2 games back in the central. They are currently 4-1/2 games behind in the wild card race. The Indians have 37 games left and if they want to see post season play they better get a huge win streak going.
