The Cleveland Indians scored 15 runs against the Royals. Maybe the 14 inning loss helped inspire them, Asdrubal Cabrera hit a grand slam in the 5th inning as he showed the Indians want to finish their season on a high note. Sandy Alomar Jr. the Indians interim manager has his guys motivated. Perhaps the Tribe should just forget about Francona and sin Alomar Jr. to be the Indians manager now. There is no sense getting a new manager when Alomar is already there, he knows this team and the players have a great deal of respect for him. In the 3 games he has been the interim manager, the Indians are 2-3. They went for 14 innings on Saturday night and didn’t get the win.
The Indians produced 15 runs to win over the Royals 15-3. The Indians also got a good start out of their pitcher Zach McAllister who pitched for 6-1/3 inning s gave up 3 runs on 5 hits and struck out 2. The Cleveland Indians open up their last three game series of the season against the White Sox and they could spoil the White Sox play off hopes if they continue to play the way they played this weekend. Alomar said it is always good to finish on a high not and they could really do that if the Indians knock the White Sox out of a play off run.
