Roberto Hernandez had a rough outing and then he left the game with an injured ankle. What do you do with a guy like this? Roberto Hernandez’s time with the Cleveland Indians had to be coming to an end. The drama the Indians lived through this season isn’t worth the wait. The former Fausto Carmona hasn’t been a help to the Indians starting rotation since he has returned at all. The Indians can’t count on Roberto Hernandez to get through 5 innings of work. He has been giving up runs and the Tribe has to work from behind in every game he has started.
Last night Roberto Hernandez pitched for 2-1/3 innings and gave up 4 hits including one home run and 3 runs. The Indians would go on to get zipped once again this season. The Indians lost 3-0 and now have a record of 55-73. If someone would have said on August 28th the Indians would be 18 games below .500 back in may, we would have said they needed their head examined. How this team can play so poorly in the second half of this season suggests some of the Indians may need their heads examined. It is like they believe they can’t win anymore.
