The Cleveland Indians continue to lose baseball games they should be able to win. They dropped their 2nd game in a row to the Seattle Mariners and it is time for the team to makes some moves so they can get back to wining games.
One of those moves should include Mark Reynolds who isn’t helping the team offensively and at times his defensive is suffering too. Reynolds made some big mistakes in last nights game. His fielding is not up to par and his hitting is absent too.
The Tribe may have made a multi million dollar mistake signing Reynolds. He is doing just what history predicted he would do. He was on fire in April and his is not doing much now. He has a history in the MLB of doing the same thing.
The Indians need to get back to winning and time is running out with the trade deadline coming at the end of this month. The Tribe needs a bat they can count on that will be consistent and unless Reynolds can turn things around quickly, he is not the guy.
If the Indians fail to make a move that can get this team back to winning baseball, the second half of the 2013 season isn’t going to be much different than what we have seen over the past 2 seasons. The front office has to do something to help this team win.
